Where is the TVCC Caldwell Center?
The TVCC Caldwell Center is located in the El Mercado Building on the Nampa/Caldwell Blvd., at 317 Happy Day Blvd., in Caldwell.

When is the TVCC Caldwell Center open?
The TVCC Caldwell Center’s information hours are from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Center is also open throughout the day, evening hours and some weekend days for scheduled classes.

What is the cost?
There is no fee to apply for admission. Course fees are $80 per credit, with a $6 per credit universal fee, and a $4 per credit student fee. Some classes may have additional fees. Books and other required class materials are not included in the course fee.

What about transfer credits?
Students should meet with an advisor to determine which classes will transfer toward a degree program. However, only after applying for admission to TVCC can a transcript be officially evaluated for credit toward a degree program.

What about financial aid?
Grants and loans may be available for those who want to attend college but cannot afford the cost. New or continuing students taking six or more credit hours may qualify for financial assistance, which can be applied to tuition, books, supplies and/or living expenses. How do I get started?

  1. Application – Call or stop by our new center in Caldwell to pick up an application. Applying is easy and FREE!
  2. Financial Aid – At the same time you receive an application, pick up a financial aid packet. Grants and loans my be available for those who want to attend college but cannot afford the cost. Students may qualify for financial assistance, which can be applied to tuition, books, supplies and/or living expenses. For more information see our the website at www.tvcc.cc/FinancialAid
  3. Placement Exam – To make sure you’re in the right course, it’s helpful to measure mathematical, English and reading ability. You can take the placement exam during regular TVCC Center Hours; no appointment is needed.
  4. Plan a program – Schedule a meeting with an advisor to review your placement exams and have any previous transcripts evaluated for transfer credits. Together you can select courses for the upcoming term.
  5. Register for classes – For the best selection, early registration is encouraged. TVCC’s website and class schedules list the start dates for each quarter, as well as when payments are due.
