College Commitment

It is the policy of the Treasure Valley Community College that there will be no discrimination or harassment on the grounds of race, color, sex, marital status, religion, national origin, age or disability in any educational programs, activities or employment.  Persons having questions about equal opportunity and non-discrimination should contact the Human Resources Director located in the Student Services Center on the south side of the Four Rivers Cultural Center Building.  Telephone - 541-881-8822, ext. 226 or TDD 541- 881-2723.

The student with a disability is continually challenged to maximize his or her potential. Treasure Valley Community College understands this challenge and is committed to providing the services and the accommodations necessary to make its programs accessible to all qualified students, regardless of a handicapping condition.

Disability Services (DS)
TVCC's Disability Services Office is located in Barber Hall, Rm 1.  Telephone contact and appointments may be made with Jessica Scritchfield at (541) 881-8822, ext. 234. The campus is equipped with TDD located in the Disability Services Office. Services coordinated through this office guarantee students equal access to an education which is limited only by personal ability and not by physical or psychological challenge. The goal is to maximize the student's educational potential while helping to develop and maintain the student's independence. The program philosophy is one that encourages self-advocacy.
